It is important for each of us to be aware of the rights of the child. These rights are based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which obliges the signatory states to respect and uphold the rights guaranteed therein – including in all education and upbringing. The materials on this page have been created as part of Finland's national child strategy, which is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Here, teachers and educators can access ready-made packages in English, focused on addressing children's rights from early childhood education to secondary education, as well as new educational videos.
