A student has completed the general upper secondary syllabus when they have passed the minimum number of modules and reached a minimum of 150 credits. General upper secondary studies consist of study units and modules, the difference being that modules are the building blocks defined in the national core curricula, and study units locally formed study entities composed of a variety of modules.   

 

Transversal competences are a key part of both subject-specific studies and those integrating different subjects. Each subject approaches transversal competences from their own fields of knowledge and science.
