Courses for teachers and post-graduate students in universities outside Finland

You can apply for a place on the course if

• you teach Finnish language or linguistics in a university outside Finland, and
• you did not get your degree from a Finnish university.

The course includes lectures, independent and small-group work. In the small groups, you will apply what you have learned during lectures into your own teaching.

We expect active participation in all parts of the programme during the course and completion of possible advance assignments.

The language of tuition is Finnish.

You can apply for a place on the course if you are

• doing your doctoral thesis
• a post-doctoral researcher, or
• are involved in a research project
• in a university outside Finland.

The aim of the course is to support post-graduate students writing their thesis and other researchers, and to strengthen links between researchers in different countries.

The course includes lectures, independent and small-group work. During the course, among other things, we will study participants’ own research papers.

We expect active participation in all parts of the programme during the course and completion of possible advance assignments.

The language of tuition is Finnish.

After the course, you need to write a final report of the course. It should be sent to the contact person of the course at EDUFI at the latest one month after the end of the course.
