Join us at the forefront of educational innovation and international collaboration! FinCEED and Education Finland are thrilled to announce the very first Global Education Partnerships (GEP) Forum, taking place in Helsinki on 7–8 November 2024. This premier event is a convergence point for thought leaders, educators, and stakeholders to explore, discuss, and demonstrate the latest advancements in educational development and trade cooperation.

Themes of the GEP Forum:

  • Education for Sustainable Development: The theme emphasizes the integration of sustainability principles into education. It aims to equip learners with knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values necessary to shape a sustainable future. The sessions can explore innovative teaching methodologies, curricula that address global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable consumption, and ways to foster critical thinking and active participation in societal transformation.

  • Digital Transformation in Education: Digital education encompasses the use of digital tools and technologies to facilitate and enhance learning. This focus area can delve into the latest trends in e-learning, best practices of research-based education technologies, the role of artificial intelligence in personalized education, and strategies for enhancing digital literacy. The sessions may include discussions on virtual classrooms, online course design, and the impact of digital technologies on traditional educational paradigms or other related topics.

  • Future Skills: The Future Skills sessions can address the evolving skill sets required in the 21st century and beyond. With the rapid pace of technological advancement, this area will highlight the importance of adaptability, problem-solving, innovation and socio-emotional intelligence. The sessions may cover topics such as the intersection of technology and creativity, the need for continuous learning and upskilling, and preparing the workforce for emerging industries and job roles.

At the heart of the forum is the principle of Co-Creation in International Education. We are dedicated to creating a dynamic environment that encourages innovative partnerships for multi-stakeholder collaboration in education. Our special emphasis lies in bridging sectors and actors from Finland and beyond, particularly in the realms of international procurements and project proposals.

Who Should Attend? Our forum is designed for a diverse group of education professionals, including:

  • Public authorities
  • Educational institutions
  • Private education sector service providers

We cover the entire educational spectrum, from early childhood to higher education and research.
