Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are high-quality international study programmes delivered jointly by several higher education institutions. The Erasmus Mundus action includes Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) and Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM). 

The EMJM grant consists of a contribution to institutional costs and to student costs. In addition, there is a top-up intended to cover individual needs of students with disabilities. Approximately 30-35 EMJM projects will be funded in the 2025 call and total budget is about 150 million euros.

Short-term EMDM funding may be applied by one higher education institution located in a EU member states or third countries associated to the Programme and aiming to form a consortium for an joint study programme. The funding will be awarded for a fixed period of 15 months and the amount is EUR 60,000.

The 2024 Erasmus Mundus call for proposals ends on 13 February 2025 at 18.00 Finnish time (17.00 CET).

The application process is managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
