During the 2026 Erasmus+ application round, higher education institutions can apply for funding for global mobility, meaning student and staff exchanges with higher education institutions in non-programme countries (so-called partner countries).
Support is applied for from the national agency of the Erasmus+ programme, which in Finland is the Finnish National Agency for Education (Opetushallitus).
A higher education institution can apply for mobility support either independently or as part of a mobility consortium formed by several institutions. A mobility consortium must have Mobility Consortium Accreditation granted by the national agency, which is applied for through a separate application. Accreditation is a procedure in which the Finnish National Agency for Education confirms the eligibility of the mobility consortium.
If a higher education institution is not part of a mobility consortium, it may submit only one application in the global mobility application round.
The application must be submitted electronically no later than February 19, 2026 at 13:00 Finnish time (12:00 CET).
