The EU Global Gateway Strategy promotes sustainable solutions to global challenges
The Global Gateway strategy is based on the joint efforts of the European Union, its member states, their financial and development institutions, civil society organisations and private sector actors. By working together as Team Europe, the goal is to mobilise up to €300 billion in investments across different sectors in 2021-2027.
The Global Gateway strategy is aligned with the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement on climate change.
Through the Global Gateway, the European Union supports its partners in the following sectors:
- Education and research
- Digital
- Climate and energy
- Health
- Transportation
