UNHCR has produced a collection of teaching materials on refugees, asylum and migration for primary and secondary education, as well as some guidance for teachers working with refugee children in the classroom.

The page also contains links to distance education provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as well as learning materials that follow the Ukrainian curriculum. These materials are meant for independent studies.
Children and young people who have fled the war in Ukraine and reside in Finland have a right to basic education on the basis of their residence in Finland, and it is important to get them back to school as soon as possible. Instruction preparing for basic education supports their readiness to start in basic education in Finland.

Yle Kielikoulu – Yle Språkskolan ("Yle language school") is a service enabling you to study Finnish or Swedish by watching the Finnish public broadcasting company Yle’s media content in an application or a browser. Kielikoulu is aimed at immigrants and other Finnish and Swedish language learners. The support languages include Ukrainian.
The Ministry of Education and Science in Ukraine offers distance teaching based on the Ukrainian curriculum to different grades according to a weekly schedule.
