Finnish National Agency for Education begins to issue ski instructors’ certificates of competency

At the beginning of 2022, the Finnish National Agency for Education begins to issue certificates of competency to ski instructors who have completed the Ski instructor, Level 3 training organised by the Finnish National Association for Ski Instructors and meet the other conditions set in the EU regulation. The ski instructor’s certificate of competency can be applied for according to the instructions on the Finnish National Agency for Education's website.
Ski instructor is a regulated profession in many European countries. The certificate of competency is aimed at facilitating the international mobility and work of ski instructors in Europe. The profession is not a regulated one in Finland, but the Finnish National Agency for Education can issue a certificate of competency for working in another EU or EEA country to a person who has completed the ski instructor training.
