There are 322 study programmes in English available in the first joint application, 156 of which are UAS study programmes and 166 are provided by universities. In total, there are circa 6000 study places available in the first joint application – 500 more than year ago.

The application period for the second joint application runs from 16 March to 30 March later this year. In the second joint application of the spring, one can apply to higher education study programmes taught in Finnish or Swedish.

No prioritisation in the first joint application

Selection criteria as well as instructions on how to apply can be found in Studyinfo.fi. You can apply to a maximum of six (6) study programmes in every joint application. In the first joint application, there is no need to prioritize the order of the selected study programmes when applying. Each applicant can be accepted to all study programmes for which they are eligible and successful enough. However, each applicant can only accept one offer of admission for studies starting in the same semester.

The first results from the joint application will be published in early February. All results will be published at 3 June at latest.

Admission services in higher education institutions offer help in matters regarding application and admissions.
