Joint application to higher education degree programmes in English begins
In the joint application, which starts now and ends on Wednesday 17 January at 3 pm, applicants apply for higher education programmes in English starting in the autumn, for degree programmes offered by the University of the Arts and for the theatre study programme at Tampere University. You can apply via the Studyinfo service, which is maintained by the Finnish National Agency of Education. The service is available at studyinfo.fi.
The joint application includes 283 study programmes, of which 110 are at universities of applied sciences and 173 at universities. It contains a total of about 8,300 study places, which is almost 1,000 more than a year ago.
The applicant can be accepted to several study programmes
A maximum of six study programmes can be applied for in each joint application. In the spring joint application for study programmes offered in English, study programmes do not need to be listed in order of preference. The applicant can be accepted to several study programmes. However, the applicant can only accept one study place in a programme leading to a university degree that begins in the same semester.
The results of the joint application to programmes in English will be published from early February onwards. All results will be published by Friday, May 31, 2024.
The joint application to higher education institutions has been split into two separate joint applications in the spring. The second joint application of the spring is 13.3—27.3.2024 and includes degree programmes offered in Finnish and Swedish.
The universities and universities of applied sciences advise applicants on matters relating to the application.
