23.–26.9. Mental Health in Youth Work: The Inspirational Event (Seville, Spain)
The event, attended by over a hundred young people and youth workers, is organised by the Mental Health in Youth Work project, a long-term cooperation initiative between national agencies. The project highlights the role of youth workers in supporting young people’s wellbeing. Youth groups from five different countries are involved in planning the event.
3.10. Higher education as catalyst for innovative, multi-stakeholder partnerships for skills development and employability in Africa
The event will present the evaluation results of the HEI ICI programme (2020–2024) as well as the initial outcomes of the HEP programme (2024–2025). The programmes are funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and administered by the Finnish National Agency for Education. The event will explore how higher education can promote collaboration between various actors in Africa, while also supporting skills development and employment opportunities for young people.
9.–10.10. Focus on the Global South: EDUFI Programme Coordinators’ Meeting
The aim of the meeting is to enable the sharing of experiences and knowledge, peer learning, and the strengthening of networks to support cooperation with the Global South. Participants include representatives from higher education institutions and also from vocational education and training, who are involved in programmes coordinated by the Finnish National Agency for Education, such as Team Finland Knowledge (TFK), Higher Education Partnership (HEP), and Erasmus+ capacity building projects.
29.–30.10. Global Education Partnerships Forum 2025
Hosted by FinCEED and Education Finland, the Global Education Partnerships Forum (GEP Forum) brings together thought leaders, educators, and stakeholders to explore, discuss, and showcase the latest advancements in education sector development and commercial cooperation. This year's theme is "Future of Multi-Stakeholder Cooperation Environment – Where and How to Navigate Next?".
