The certificates for the YKI tests held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 will be ready in week 26
New digital YKI certificates will be introduced in June 2026. If you take the YKI test on or after April 1, 2026, you can receive your YKI certificate either on paper or digitally via My Studyinfo.
YKI certificates are issued approximately two months after the test day. Previously, YKI certificates were issued only in paper form.
The new types of certificates issued in June will be introduced only after the Government Decree on National Certificates of Language Proficiency has been amended. The amendment was approved on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
The reform affects the schedule of certificates for the YKI tests held on Saturday, April 11. The certificates will be issued later than usual:
- If you took the YKI test in Swedish on April 11, 2026, your certificate will be sent in week 26.
- If you took the YKI test in Northern Sámi on April 11, 2026, your certificate will be sent in week 26.
- If you took the YKI test in French on April 11, 2026, your certificate will be sent in week 26.
