When educational institutions and teachers are obliged to approach a sustainable future and transversal competence, the task given understandably feels enormous and time-consuming. How do you even begin to approach such diverse and constantly changing entities?

When time and other resources do not seem to be enough for “doing anything extra”, the work carried out for a sustainable future should be properly tied to what must be done anyway. This is where the transversal competence pursued by school subjects together becomes an asset.
