On this page you can find relevant links and current information regarding the new Erasmus+ programme.
In order to participate in the new Erasmus+ Programme each higher education institution must apply for the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), provided by the European Commission. ECHE Provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities a higher education institution may carry out, and thus binds the institution to follow the general framework and conditions. ECHE is granted for the whole Programme period (2021-2027).
Application period for ECHE ends on 26th May 2020 at 5 PM (Brussels time) and the results will be announced to higher education institutions on 15th October 2020.
Some new digital tools are brought to us with the new Erasmus+ programme. Straightforward and secure online administrative procedures and putting information at the fingertips of students is essential for boosting student mobility across Europe. It is also crucial for promoting student participation in educational and cultural activities. The European Student Card Initiative will develop an online one-stop-shop through the Erasmus+ Mobile App for students to manage all administrative steps related to their mobility period - before, during and after their stay. It will allow students to find all the information they need to experience a high-quality mobility experience abroad.
The national Agency of Education in Finland has assembled a national Erasmus Without Paper team consisting of representatives of higher education institutions. The aim of this team is to get familiar with the online tools, test their functionality and share information and experiences within the field.
