Foreign Ministry to support five Finnish higher education institutions in their collaboration with developing countries

In 2024–2026, the higher education cooperation of Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs will prioritise teacher education, climate change and the circular economy, and food security. The Foreign Ministry grants just over EUR 6 million to the seven projects approved for the partnership programme.

TFK Programme funds 7 cooperation projects in the separate Call for Ukraine

The third application round of Team Finland Knowledge programme included a separate call for Ukraine. The object of the Ukraine Call was to support Finnish higher education institutions’ (HEIs) cooperation with the Ukrainian higher education institutions. Finnish National Agency for Education granted in total 485 875 euros for 7 projects. Funding amount per project varies between 57 010 and 79 590 euros and project period is 1.8.2023-31.12.2025.

TFK programme's third application round funds 33 education cooperation projects

The third application round of the Team Finland Knowledge programme (TFK) and this year’s separate call for Ukraine received wide interest among the Finnish higher education institutions (HEIs). Finnish National Agency for Education granted in total 1 591 008 euros for 26 projects selected in the actual call. Funding received per project varies between 40 290 and 72 000 euros and project period is 1.8.2023-31.12.2025.

TFK programme’s Call 2023 supports cooperation with Ukraine

The purpose of the TFK funding programme is to create and strengthen cooperation between Finnish higher education institutions and the selected TFK target countries as well as to design new operating models. The programme funds educational cooperation between higher education institutions through cooperation- and mobility projects.
