Ethical guidelines for cooperation with partners from the Global South

Ethical guidelines, developed by the Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI) in collaboration with stakeholders, are targeted to all projects with partners from the Global South. The guidelines aim to strengthen equal and fair partnerships. They provide a basis for discussing important aspects of project planning and implementation, enhancing collaboration and transparency.

Qualifications frameworks

The purpose of the qualifications frameworks is to facilitate comparison of qualifications and qualification levels of different countries and to promote mobility and lifelong learning. Each level in the qualifications frameworks describes the knowledge, understanding and practical capability achieved by an individual who has completed a qualification, syllabi or competence module at that level. The competences are described as jointly agreed in European collaboration.

Master's level grant for kindred peoples

The Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI) awards grants to Master’s students whose native tongue is one of the Finno-Ugric languages spoken in Russia or who has a command similar to a native speaker and has a Finno-Ugric family background. (Students of Russian or Belarussian universities cannot get grants.) The Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI) awards grants for Finno-Ugric post-graduate students and researchers] whose native tongue is one of the Finno-Ugric languages spoken in Russia or who has a command similar to a native speaker.
