A new Europe-wide project begins to look after young people’s mental health and wellbeing
The project launched under the name Mental Health in Youth Work focuses on the rapidly growing prevalence of mental health issues in young people. The multiyear project will shift the focus of youth workers and young people on ways that everyone can use to take care of their own wellbeing.

The Mental Health in Youth Work project promotes increasing the amount of positive mental health knowledge, develops the competence of youth workers and promotes a youth-oriented approach to supporting young people’s mental health. The long-term partnerships for cooperation is coordinated by the Finnish National Agency for Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes.

Mental health of young people a topic of discussion in all of Europe – youth workers updated their competence in Helsinki
People working with young people are facing a massive workload in mental health after the pandemic. Ways of tackling it were sought in the Mental Health in Youth Work training held in Helsinki.
