Authorised Translator’s Examination System
The Examination Board of Authorised Translators represents translator training establishments, practising authorised translators, and users of their services.
The Finnish National Agency for Education is in charge of maintaining and further developing the examination system of authorised translators and monitoring the implementation of the examination.
Since authorised translators are expected to be able to work in at least one of the official languages of Finland (Finnish, Swedish or Sami), the majority of the information is published only on our Finnish and Swedish websites.
Are you looking for an authorised translator?
The Finnish National Agency for Education maintains a register of authorised translators. You can use the search engine to find an authorised translator either by language pair, name, or municipality of residence.
