Alankomaiden Erasmus+ -ohjelman kansallinen toimisto järjestää temaattisen seminaarin "Diversity and Inclusion in Teacher Training".  Seminaari on kohdennettu henkilöille jotka työskentelevät opettajankouluttajina.

Seminaarin tavoitteena on vastata yhteen suurimmista haasteista, joita opettajat kohtaavat 2000-luvulla: kasvavaan kulttuuriseen ja kielelliseen monimuotoisuuteen luokkahuoneessa.

'Seminaarin kuvaus:

In this TCA for teacher trainers we want to address one of the main challenges that teachers are facing in the 21st century: increasing cultural and linguistic diversity in the classroom. How can teacher trainers work on their own professional development in this area so as to be able to incorporate these competences in the teacher training curriculum? And how can international mobilities for teacher trainers and student teachers play a role here? The TCA will offer ample opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas, practices and research findings.

Expected results:

After the seminar, participants will be aware of the needs and wants for professional development of teacher trainers and curriculum development in their institutions in the field of cultural and linguistic diversity and inclusion in the classroom.

Also, participants will have broadened their European network and will have gained new connections for collaboration at an international level on the themes addressed.

Additional information:

All activities will take place at the Fletcher Wellness Hotel in Leiden, where we have reserved rooms for all partipants. Rooms and all meals in the programme will be organised and paid for by the Dutch NA.

The programme will start on Wednesday 12 April 2023 at 18:00 hrs (CET) and end on Friday 14 April 2023 at around 14:00 hrs (CET)
