Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are high-quality international study programmes delivered jointly by several higher education institutions. The Erasmus Mundus action includes Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) and Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM).

The EMJM grant consists of a contribution to institutional costs and to student costs. In addition, there is a top-up intended to cover individual needs of students with disabilities. Approximately 27 (TBC) EMJM projects will be funded in the 2022 call and total budget is 145 million euros.

Short-term EMDM funding may be applied by one higher education institution located in a Programme or Partner Country and aiming to form a consortium for an joint study programme. The funding will be awarded for a fixed period of 15 months and the amount is EUR 55,000. Approximately 55 (TBC) EMDM projects will be funded in the 2022 call and the total budget is 3 million euros.

Both actions are applied for from the EACEA, European Education and Culture Executive Agency.
