The evaluation involved extensive interviews with users and stakeholders. All citizens also had the opportunity to provide feedback through an open consultation. The evaluations will help to improve Europass and develop the qualifications frameworks both internationally and nationally.
Europass a versatile and a useful tool
Europass users consider Europass to be very important and useful. Particularly the possibility to identify one's own competences and compile them in a personal digital portfolio, which can also be used to easily compile a CV, was considered valuable.
The European qualifications frameworks are seen as a necessary tool to increase the recognition and understanding of qualifications and competences at international level. They also play an important role in the national development of education and training systems.
The conclusions from the evaluations will support the work on Europass and European Qualifications Frameworks in Finland as well.
