Fees for recognition of qualifications changed at the turn of the year. The new fees will apply to applications received from 1 January 2026 onwards.

The fees have been harmonized so that all applications for the recognition of qualifications are subject to a processing fee of €100 and a decision fee of €395. Regarding the applications for a final decision, a processing fee of €100 will be charged, as before. The new prices have been published on the recognition of qualifications website and on the application forms.

The fees are based on the Ministry of Education and Culture's regulation on fees for the services of the Finnish National Agency for Education and its separate units (1508/2025).
