You can register to the Erasmus in Schools programme through the Matching Machine platform. You will receive a notification by email once you have been matched with a school. After that, you can plan your visit together with the teacher.
In Finland, numerous schools are located at a considerable distance from cities with higher education institutions. Therefore, please consider the question “How far are you willing to travel for a school visit?”.
The Erasmus in Schools programme gives a chance to visit:
- Early childhood education and care (ages 0–5)
- Pre-primary education (age 6)
- Comprehensive school (ages 7–16)
- General upper secondary school (ages 16–19)
- Vocational institution (ages 16–19)
We will reimburse your travel expenses according to the least expensive means transportation and accommodation, should an overnight stay be necessary. Please confirm with the Erasmus in Schools program staff if an overnight stay is required during your visit.
