The FoodLeader project is a collaboration between University of Helsinki (Finland), University of Nairobi (Kenya), and Universidade Lúrio (Mozambique). The FoodLeader project aims to enhance the capacity of all three academic institutions in educating future experts who provide strategic leadership to enhance food safety and nutrition security.
This project intends to advance and strengthen teacher educators' conceptual, methodological, and pedagogical competence to promote education for sustainable development in teacher education in Finland, Namibia, and Tanzania
HEP-TED project aims to develop and strengthen the capacity of Rwandan higher education institutions (HEIs). In response to Rwanda’s “Vision 2050” and the National Strategy for Transformation 2017–2024, the project focuses on quality teacher education for general and technical/vocational education, addressing needs identified through a joint assessment.
The project aims to improve the capacity for nutrition education and research in Nepalese universities in an inclusive and working-life-relevant way. The project activities will result in a new valid Nepalese dietary database and a better capacity for university teachers to teach dietary measurement methods, food security and sustainability of food systems in Nepal.
The project aims at contributing to high-quality, inclusive and working life relevant higher education in Zambia to support sustainable development and the transition towards a circular economy with biogas as an alternative form of energy. This is achieved by building capacity in the partner HEIs through theoretical and practical training in circular economy (CE) in the waste-to-energy sector in Zambia with focus on biogas.
The project contributes to improving the quality and relevance of teacher education programmes in two Mozambican Higher Education Institutions. It aims to strengthen their capacity to deliver and develop quality teacher education and provide teacher trainees with improved competencies in inclusive education in various Mozambican contexts.
