Read the general instructions for recipients of a recognition decision.
Information for the recipient of a recognition decision: recognition of comparability to the Master of Laws degree
The conditional decision issued by the Finnish National Agency for Education specifies the minimum and maximum amount of the studies and the subject areas.
The decision does not include a list of required courses. You will have to choose the studies from the studies in the universities’ degree requirements in accordance with the decision. If necessary, contact a university for advice.
Complete the supplementing studies at a Finnish university where you can complete a Bachelor or Master of Laws degree. You can complete studies at more than one university. However, studies in the same subject area should be completed at one university.
If necessary, apply for the study right according to the practices of the university providing the studies. You may also take advantage of the studies offered by open universities.
Please note that completing the studies usually requires proficiency in Finnish or Swedish.
Universities may charge fees for providing the studies.
For more information on completing the supplementing studies, contact the universities.
