Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education supports the modernisation, accessibility and internationalisation of higher education in EU-external partner countries.

There are three kinds of Capacity Building projects:

  1. Fostering access to cooperation in higher education
  2. Partnerships for transformation in higher education
  3. Structural reform projects

Deadline for applications is 16 February 2023 at 18.00 Finnish time (17.00 CET).

The budget for Capacity Building in Higher Education in call 2023 is approximately 116.9 million euros. Approximately 166 projects can be funded.

The application process is managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
