Erasmus+ programme’s European Universities develop high-quality education, research and innovations and promote mobility. The university networks engage in close and ambitious cooperation. The goal of the initiative is to promote fact-based economy, employment and welfare in Europe.
In the 2023 call, higher education institutions can apply for funding under two different topics:
- Topic 1: support for existing institutional transnational cooperation alliances including the European Universities alliances selected under the 2020 Call for Proposals. The objective is deepening and expanding the cooperation.
- Topic 2: support for establishing new deep institutional transnational cooperation.
The estimated budget for the 2023 call is EUR 345.6 million for topic 1 and EUR 38.4 million for topic 2.
The application process is administrated by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission.
