Statistics include only periods lasting 3 months or more. Mobility in the framework of exchange programmes and organised by the students themselves (free movers) are both included. Finnish National Agency for Education collects annually statistics on mobility in Finnish higher education. This includes both credit mobility (periods of study or traineeship abroad that are recognised as part of student’s ongoing studies at a home institution) and degree mobility (students who enroll at a higher education institution abroad in order to complete a full degree programme).
