The Implementation guidelines - Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes Digital Strategy document provides guidance on how to ensure that programmes contribute systematically to the digital transition through impactful activities. The European Digital Education Hub has produced a playbook that reviews the context of digital skills in the European Union (EU), what they are for, and what some of the challenges are. It also explores how to understand digital skills in more depth, leaning on the European DigComp Framework as a guide, as well as looking at important issues like ethics and sustainability.
SALTO Digital Dialogues is a monthly webinar series on current Digital Transformation topics for National Agency staff, hosted by SALTO Digital. Digital competence involves the "confident, critical and responsible use of, and engagement with, digital technologies for learning, at work, and for participation in society. It is defined as a combination of knowledge, skills and attitudes.” The Digital Competence Framework for Citizens (DigComp) provides a common understanding of what digital competence is. DigComp identifies the key components of digital competence in the five areas and 21 specific competences. The framework also describes eight proficiency levels, examples of knowledge, skills and attitudes, and use cases in education

SELFIE (Self-reflection on Effective Learning by Fostering the use of Innovative Educational technologies) is a free tool designed to help schools embed digital technologies into teaching, learning and assessment.
The SALTO Network comprises 11 resource centres around Europe. Some serve the youth field, some the educational field and some work cross-sectorally. All SALTOs are committed to support National Agencies of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps in implementing the programmes.
In the European youth field, digital transformation is understood as a multi- stakeholder and inclusive process encompassing the co-design, implementation and utilisation of people-centred digital technologies with and by young people, youth workers and other relevant stakeholders.
The SNAC on Digital Youth Work (2021-2023) was a long term project involving 17 National Agencies and 5 expert organisations. The project focused on Youth policies involving digitalisation, competences of staff and young people, online practice and hybrid / blended mobilities. The project was coordinated by the Finnish NA. HEInnovate is a self-reflection tool for Higher Education Institutions who wish to explore their innovative potential. It guides you through a process of identification, prioritisation and action planning in eight key areas. The self-assessment is available in all EU languages.

The Commission is determined to make this Europe's “Digital Decade”. Europe must now strengthen its digital sovereignty and set standards, rather than following those of others – with a clear focus on data, technology, and infrastructure.
